I-bar sealers are designed to use with centerfold shrink film and shrink tubing, but can also be used for sealing poly bags. They work just like a hand sealer. Sealers come with a round wire for seal and cut shrink wrapping with center fold shrink film or, they can have a flat seal for sealing bags and/or film. Depending on the model of the machine, film up to 35" wide and 0.025 mm (100 gauge) thickness can be used. All models are of steel construction including the work base for quality and durability. Timer, heat gun holder, film roller & cutter are some of the different features of these sealers. The cutter length listed below on those models with a film cutter indicate the maximum width of film that can be cut. W series comes in an ivory color, available in 14", 20", 26", 30" and 35". This series is equipped with a timer, film roller and heat gun holder. The W series with the letter C also have a film cutter which can be used with shrink tubing or poly tubing. AIE series comes in an ivory color, available in 13", 18", 24", and 32". Unlike the W-series, the AIE I-bars come with a heat gun, 500' roll of PVC shrink film and a power strip. Centerfold film operation: Insert the product between the 2 layers of center fold film and press down the sealing bar while pulling the package slightly away from the sealing bar (you are cutting across the roll of film). The element wire will seal the edge and cut off the film. Now turn the package 90 degrees and seal the front side the same way you sealed across the film. The first seal actually creates the right side seal for the current package and the left side seal for the next package. Apply hot air using heat gun to shrink the film. |
