Hand Impulse Sealers with Cutters

Hand impulse sealers are available with a built-in cutter in 8" to 40" lengths. Seal width from 2mm to 10mm. Built in electronic timer controls sealing time needed for different materials. All the sealers on this page have a cutter to seal and trim poly bags and tubing in one step. Manufacturer's spare part kit is included with all sealers. AIE Models 8", 12" & 16" Lengths UL listed. They are an all metal sealer and are blue in color. Available in 8", 12" & 16" lengths with a 2mm or 5mm wide seal. All are equipped with a sliding blade that cuts excess material a quarter inch from the seal. Works great for trimming bag length or sealing poly tubing. Included is a manufacture's parts kit consisting of 2 elements and 1 PTFE Non Stick cover. AIE is the American International Electric Brand and are manufactured in ISO-9001 Certified facilities.	TISH Models 8" & 12" Lengths UL listed. The TISH series sealers are metal and come in light blue. They are available in 8" & 12" lengths with a 2mm or 5mm wide seal. All are equipped with a sliding blade that cuts excess material a quarter inch from the seal. Works great for trimming bag length or sealing poly tubing. Manufacture's kit includes 2 elements and 2 PTFE Non Stick covers. This is the original TEW Brand made in Taiwan.	AIE MEDICAL SEALER 8" Length UL Listed The AIE-210C has a wide 10mm seal with an embossed, honeycomb texture and a warning beeper to notify the user when each seal is complete. It is specifically designed and recommended for the health care industry. It creates air and watertight seals on sterilization (paper-plastic) rolls and tubing materials. This medical impulse sealer can be used for many other applications that require wider seals on plastic materials.	FS Models w/ Cutter 8" & 12" Lengths The FS series is similar to the TISH sealers but a little lighter. They are durable and economical. Comes in light blue, available in 8" and 12" with a 2mm wide seal. Manufacture's replacement kit includes 2 elements, 2 PTFE Non Stick covers & a blade. FS models are a TISH compatible sealer manufactured in China. We have a FS specification sheet in pdf format.

Extra Long WN Models 20", 26", 30" & 40" Lengths They are an all metal sealer and are ivory in color. Available in 20", 26", 30" & 40" lengths with a 2.7mm wide seal (a round wire for "cut-and-seal" applications does not work well with the built in cutter). All are equipped with a sliding blade that cuts excess material 5/8 inch from the seal. Works great for trimming bag length or sealing poly tubing. Included is a manufacture's parts kit consisting of 3 elements, 2 PTFE Non Stick adhesives and a blade.	AIE Magnetic Hold Models 12"& 16" Lengths For ease of sealing these sealers come with dual timers - one for sealing and one for congealing. A built in magnet holds the sealing arm down during the seal and congeal cycles and then releases it automatically. Included is a manufacturer's parts kit consisting of 2 elements and 1 PTFE Non Stick cover. AIE is the American International Electric Brand and are manufactured in ISO-9001 Certified facilities. HOW TO PICK A HAND IMPULSE SEALER WITH CUTTER

Our hand sealers with cutters come in a variety of different models. Cutters are used when sealing tube stock or when you want to trim excess bag length. The main difference is the length and the width of the seal.

LENGTH: The length is obvious, just pick a model with a length a little more than the longest bag or widest film you need to seal or cut. Don't get a 12" sealer to seal a 12" wide bag...that's cutting it too close!
SEAL: Seals are available in a variety of widths starting at 2mm. Pick a wider seal if your seal integrity is very important. A good example would be a food application where you don't want any air or dirt getting in to the product or a liquid application where the seal needs to be leak proof. Round elements for "cut-and-seal" applications don't work well with the sealers with cutters because the round element cuts the film or bag instead of holding it so you can slide the cutter across.
QUALITY: All our hand sealers with cutters are metal construction, not plastic. See the descriptions at the top of this page to see the differences on these sealers with cutters.
CUTTER: Our hand sealers with cutters on this page have a sliding blade that cuts adjacent to the seal that allows you to manually cut a shrink tube or poly tube after you seal it. This is primarily used with tube stock to cut the tube to length or open the sealed end of the tube for the next product. When sealing bags, shrink or otherwise, you usually do not need a cutter! The exception would be to trim excess length of a bag beyond the seal.
