Using the sealer for shrink wrap? You can substitute for no charge a round wire element for "cut-and-seal" operations on most sealers. Pick a sealer with 2mm seal width and ask for a round element in the comment section of the shopping cart.

WE CARRY SEVERAL DIFFERENT BRANDS & MODELS OF HAND IMPULSE SEALERS

AIE Models 4", 8", 12", 16" & 20 Lengths UL listed!! They are an all metal sealer and are blue in color. Available in 4" 8", 12", 16" & 20" lengths with a 2mm or 5mm wide seal. Included is a manufacture's parts kit consisting of 2 elements and 1 PTFE Non Stick cover. AIE is the American International Electric Brand and are manufactured in ISO-9001 Certified facilities.	TISH & KF Models 4", 8", 12", 16" & 20" Lengths UL listed!! The TISH series sealers are metal and come in light blue. They are available in 4" 8", 12", & 16" lengths with a 2mm or 5mm wide seal. Manufacture's kit includes 2 elements and 2 PTFE Non Stick covers. This is the original TEW Brand made in Taiwan. The KF is very similar, available in 20" length.	FS Models 4", 8", 12" & 16" Lengths The FS series is similar to the TISH sealers but a little lighter. They are durable and economical. Comes in light blue, available in 4", 8", 12", & 16" with a 2mm wide seal (all but the 4" are also available with a 5mm seal). Manufacture's replacement kit includes 2 elements and 2 PTFE Non Stick covers. FS models are a TISH compatible sealer manufactured in China. AIE Magnetic Hold Models 12"& 16" Lengths For ease of sealing these sealers come with dual timers - one for sealing and one for congealing. A built in magnet holds the sealing arm down during the seal and congeal cycles and then releases it automatically. Included is a manufacturer's parts kit consisting of 2 elements and 1 PTFE Non Stick cover. AIE is the American International Electric Brand and are manufactured in ISO-9001 Certified facilities.	PFS-200B 8" Length The PFS-200B is a 8" hand sealer with a 10mm wide flat element. Manufacturer's replacement kit includes 1 element, 2 PTFE Non Stick covers.	TABLE PRESS SEALERS 10" & 12" Length Stainless Steel Shop Sealers These unique S/S impulse sealers allow you to seal bags rapidly while holding the bag with two hands. You just depress the work table to activate the sealer. Suitable for sealing powder & liquid products. They can be used on table top or wall mounted to do vertical sealing. Manufacture's replacement kit includes two elements.	IMPULSE SEALERS WITH CUTTERS Available in 8" to 40" Lengths Hand impulse sealers are also available with a built-in sliding blade that cuts across the bag or film approximately 1/4" from the seal. HOW TO PICK A HAND IMPULSE SEALER

Our hand sealers come in a variety of different models. The main difference is the length and the width of the seal.

LENGTH: The length is obvious, just pick a model with a length a little more than the longest bag or widest film you need to seal or cut. Don't get a 12" sealer to seal a 12" wide bag...that's cutting it too close!

SEAL: Seals are available in a variety of widths starting at 2mm. Pick a wider seal if your seal integrity is very important. A good example would be a food application where you don't want any air or dirt getting in to the product or a liquid application where the seal needs to be leak proof. Cut-and-Seal We also offer a round seal element for shrink film, shrink bags or poly tubing...the round element will cut and seal the material at the same time. This is a no charge option. For these cut-and-seal applications, choose a 2mm wide sealer and specify "round element" in the comment section of the shopping cart.

QUALITY: All our hand sealers are metal construction, not plastic. On the 4" through 20" sealers you will see up to three different brands and models, the FS series, TISH series and AIE series. All are metal sealers but the AIE and TISH series are a little heavier than the FS series. The AIE series are UL listed (CE listing is available on some AIE models). AIE and TISH models are manufactured in Taiwan, FS models in China. Pick the TISH or AIE models if you plan on heavy duty use.
CUTTERS: Our hand sealers with cutter have a blade that allows you to manually cut a shrink tube or poly tube after you seal it. This is primarily used with tube stock to cut the tube to length or open the sealed end of the tube for the next product. When sealing bags, shrink or otherwise, you usually do not need a cutter!
